Drove a V6 automatic, never driven a manual before and I went with manual and would still choose manual.

If we knew when the A10 would roll out for the normal SS, I think I would've waited for it. The A8 is "fine" but that A10 is getting highly positive reviews as the ZL1 reviews come in.

If I didn't have the friend hookup through my neighbor, I would likely have stretched for a used GT-R or 911 4S. But the deal I got on my 2SS was too good to pass up.

A8s all the way. The convenience and upside benefits won me over. Yes driving a manual is probably more fun. But that gets old after a while.

If I ever buy another manual it will have more than 6 gears. When and if the Camaro adopts the corvette M7 that's when I will convert 6 gears is just very standard nowadays. A8, A10 or give me M7.

I think you can still get into big enough trouble with the turbo 4 though...

Since this is my daily driver that I will take to an occasional HPDE, I got the A8. LOVE the A8, and glad I got it. If this were a garage queen/weekend track car, I probably would have gone with the M6.

If I had to do it again, I'd get the A8.

Bought a 1SS with the A-8. Annoyed me to pay $1500 extra but I wanted the Auto. Have had a ton of manuals and the shifting becomes tedious. Especially when we visit the kids in Portland, or Family on the two Coasts. Stop and go traffic gets OLD in about 5 minutes with a manual.

My only regret is the Hyper Blue. I love the color, but here in the dirty, dusty West....Impossible to keep clean. But I SO LOVE the color!

If I had it to do over I would have gone White or Silver.

Manual here and I live in Houston. NEVER EVER would I consider anything else in this car transmission wise! I only wish I did get mrc.

I love when people look in and the grin comes along with man 6 speed manual too you done it right. As long as they offer these cars with manual transmission that's what I'm buying! Why bother getting a sports car in anything different? if I want comfy and luxurious I drive the 4x4 platinum Tundra (automatic).

M6 for me. I think I'll always have a manual sports car.

I'll get an auto when I'm old... no offense.

Why do you need more than 6 gears? I had a M7 Stingray and never used 7th. It was a VERY tall overdrive.

I guess I'm old...ish! I thought I would never own an auto sports car but got thinking about enjoying my coffee on an early morning drive vs wearing my coffee... Still fun to drive as an auto. So, if I had a do over, and I could afford it, I would do the ZL1 A10. Problem is, right now it is stuck inside a garage waiting for spring. Sucks Bad!

A bit more fuel efficient I'd definitely ram 7th gear. Plus I do a great amount of interstate driving.
