When was the last time someone first looked inside your new sports car and said, "Oh, cool! You got the automatic!"?
Now guess what they say when I first open the doors of my 50th SS. Absolutely, every time the first thing they notice, regardless of age or sex, is the 6 speed.
Just an observation, and I am happy with my choice.

First manual car I've ever owned and wouldn't trade it for the world (well maybe a Porsche but that's it). I've dealt with NY traffic that turned a 1hour commute into 2.5hours on a few occasions and it's not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Active Rev Match makes it so much easier and I'm driving a beast of a car. It's not as easy as automatic though but I didn't buy this car for the smaller % of time I hit traffic that's that bad. This is my performance toy and nothing is more fun than rowing your own gears as you tear ass through some farm roads.

Let's pretend this was a typo. He meant he wished he got a supercharger and laser jammer.

I wanted the M6, but the dealer couldn't find one around here with MRC and a sunroof. Now that I have the A8, I'm glad I have it. City traffic is no fun.

Me personally I love the A8 only because I live in Cali and obviously my driving is at peak traffic hours. The only thing I wished I have gotten was the MRC but in Cali I wanted the vert and I couldnt afford both so I said **** the MRC and I would just buy that 1le/ZL1 kit and better tires which Im hoping comes close to the MRC but again we will see.

Absolutely love my 50th vert, but if I had to do it again, I would have held out for the ZL1 vert. I just don't do waiting very well

I would seriously have to consider the hyper blue. I love my white, but that blue really sticks out.

Been a manual guy for around 5 decades now. Driving a manual is becoming a unique skill these days and will continue to fade out over time. This could be the last manual I own due to the possibility of auto manufactures slowly dropping them from production. I'll be hanging on to this one.

However, the A10 has caught my attention. Maybe in some future year.

Yeah, it does stand out. Some days it's a bit much, but blue cars are getting popular again.

No way would I ever consider a manual transmission in Houston Traffic. Those are for folks who live in less densely populated areas and don't go downtown.

Manuals forever for my fun car. Nothing like an all out run in a V8 manual or hitting the twisties. My daily is an auto, but I work from home. LOL

LOL. Nice point. I personally don't care what anyone thinks about my car, though.

I like fast acceleration and I live in a fairly built up populated area. A manual is not very fun to drive all the time from red light to red light. At the strip, my A8 is now faster than my wife's coworkers manual 17 ZL1. Had he waited for the A10, I would be losing nearly every 1/4 mile race. Up on the interstate, his ZL1 will walk me, but I never street race so that's a moot point.

I don't care if its a 4 speed im a stick to my gear rowing, its a lot more fun, evolved and technical, requiring more skill then pressing the gas and break. I rather not pay extra either just to have less fun, its technically a race car, who buys it for traffic anyways? seriously, if that's the case then you should be more worried about the size of the motor 4,6 or 8 get a 4 cyl auto if that's the case. Just my opinion guys.
