Supercharger for the 3.8?
From what little research I've done, I know that the 3800 series II engine was run in a few other GM vehicles at the time, and I know that a couple of those were supercharged. Given that much, would it be possible to take a supercharger from one of those and swap it onto my '98? In addition to that, relative to labor and cost, would it be worth it considering option 2 is a full-blown sub-frame swap (from an '01-'02 LS1 )?
I'm just trying to see what I should save up for this summer when I'll actually have the time to get a job!

The supercharger dosent fit. If I remember correctly it would be inside of your dash! Don't quote me on that!

Its possible, but very difficult.

Due to the location of the fuel injectors you can not just bolt a supercharger from an L67 on to a non-SC'd 3800. You need to do a full top end sawp meaning lower intake manifold, heads, SC pulleys, crank pulley and supercharger. Then because all US spec L67's were designed for only FWD cars with horizontally mounted engines you have to either heavily modify the supercharger and TB location like shown in the link above or you need to get a supercharger from the Autralian market because they were made for RWD cars. All of that work and you have roughly 250 hp. IMO it's better to just buy a V8 car or spary some nitrous in to your V6.
