Anyone at 38k on there odometer?

It wasn't until after I asked that I called the dealer back to verify the Mileage difference from the 38 i quoted to the 39. My car was on stands currently with the battery disconnected and the trunk closed. Newb mistake but id rather not have had to crawl back into the trunk to open it with the latch. So that is why i asked. But instead because of all the dramatic feedback i decided to crawl in to connect, verify and take a picture.

Did you guys even read his post before you accused him of fraud? If he was asking for a photo of a odometer with less than 36k AND dealers based warranty claims on PHOTOS of odometers, it might be fraud. But since neither one of those things are true, I don't see how anyone could accuse him of fraud. If it went down like he said, it's not called "fraud", it called a "Goodwill Warranty Claim" My dealer does it all the time. They've worked on my vehicles long after my warranty was officially expired and never charged me a dime. I had no idea I was committing fraud. And I have no idea why he thinks a photo of a odometer with less mileage than his car has is going to help anything. A dealer can do a "Goodwill Warranty Claim" if it has 38k or 138k, if they want. But whither he has 38k or 40k is not going not going to make any difference.

If he is saying he has 38k when he actually has 41k then you can kiss his butt however you want too, but he is still not being honest and that sucks. If the dealer was wanting to do a "Goodwill" repair, they would not require proof of a false mileage in the first place.

I would have responded to this post earlier but I was too busy out in the garage taking a picture of a stock V-8 before I slap a supercharger and cam on it , you know just in case I have to show them pictures of a stock engine and wait for them to call me to pick up the new engine when this one blows up.

I find it funny how you guys are always complaining about dealers, insurance companies, etc always screwing you over for hundreds or thousands of dollars but when it comes to trying to help yourselves out even for something as small as a headlamp you guys are so quick to call it fraud and call eachother bad people for doing it, but that's just my thought. I'll just kick back and watch you guys bully the "bad" guy
