Question Help switching radio

Hi, I would like some help and input please.

My sound system was having some problems and I found out that it was the satellite player radio. (pic that says original)

So I purchased a replacement and was told it belonged to an Equinox and was pretty much the same. (other picture)

I the proceeded to swap memories between them and it worked great, the touch screen was fine and all. However, the buttons outside the screen have switched to random places and I cannot figure it out. (third pic)

Any insight on this matter?

if it wasnt VIN programmed by Gen5Diy then it wont work. All Mylink infotainment systems are vin locked. Swapping isnt capable. Also, the input panel is not the same. youd need one from a camaro for proper input controls.

Is it doing anything aside from powering on?

As noted above, these are supposedly VIN locked and need to reprogrammed to function. The programming will likely also resolve the button issue.

Hi my friends,

Thank you for the attention and willingness to help.

We transferred the memory from one device to the other.

Everything works fine, except for the external side buttons that have gone crazy and switched places. Anyway to fix this?

Kind regards
