+1.... I think we've been talking about this enough. Gets significantly worse as you push to bigger HP numbers.
To add insult to injury I don't even think tuners have figured out how to get rid of it. And if they have, please inbox me lol. I'll pay at this point. I'm not launching in public until it gets taken care of loll it's not subtle to say the least.

+1, 300 miles on my 2018 before I put it up for the winter. Still breaking it in but have noticed that I need to give more gas and slip the clutch. Haven't done any hard pulls yet. But if there is a problem fix it already, money should not be a reason not to give a fix. If I stall in traffic and get plowed by a tractor trailer and someone dies is it worth it GM? It's only money and just a car, fix it.

I just watched a video of a 2017 ZL1 m6 racing a Tesla, perhaps the all wheel drive Tesla should win, but what was so embarrassing for me as a ZL1 m6 owner is how bad the ZL1 bogged. When I ordered my ZL1 it was a toss up between this car and a Cobra GT350R,
now wondering if I made the right decision. |

At any speed where a RWD vehicle is traction-limited, an AWD vehicle enjoys a clear advantage. Some of that advantage remains even if the RWD vehicle can pull a small wheelstand. Basically this means that the portion of any acceleration contest that happens below about 60 mph belongs to the Tesla. Bog or no bog.
Electric drive also has an advantage over a MT at launch, in that drive torque is initially applied to the drive tires without any mechanical shock coming from clutch engagement. On the ZL1 side, both of those disadvantages are going to exaggerate the appearance of this bog. A more apples to apples comparison would have put some other RWD car of generally comparable performance in the other lane. That's not to say that the same amount of bog wouldn't be present, just that the more comparable car wouldn't have motored away from it quite as rapidly. Norm

Thanks. As hard as it was to keep track of the cars' relative positioning that one is far more realistic than the Tesla one I saw a few days ago. Car lengths vs a football field or two.

It looks like this thread has lots of posts from unique members. We have more posts and views than the official Poll #2 sticky, and this thread was created 2 days after that thread.
I appreciate the support guys. Let's keep the posts coming until we land on an official poll.

The 2018 stock Mustang GT ran an 11.8 quarter mile time.
Just reinforcing how bad we need the explanation of these features and how to leverage them properly for the better track times.

+1. I have a 2018 ZL1 1LE. It was terrible when I first got it. I put the ported TB and RotoFab and it cleaned it up 80% but it's still there. I had a C7 with blower and M7 with zero bog. It has to be the tune, but others posted they had a tune and it did not clean it up. I autocross and need to leave the line smooth. It's very annoying just trying to pull from a light or a turn. It randomly just falls on it's face like your a 16 year trying to figure out how to use a clutch. I'm thinking on upping the HP big time and hope with this and a tune it will resolve entirely.
