reverse backup sensors
Is it possible to get the sensors installed without a new rear bumper?

Short answer no, you have to either replace the bumper or drill holes in yours. You might want to check first to see if your computer is set up for those and can be programmed to work with them. If you have an early model like me they weren't even an option at the time. Just my .02

They were an option on the 2010.

No, not really ... They were standard when they started putting them on.

I only find them useful during very tight parallel parking.

They were available on the 2LT and 2SS mid-model year. The early 2010's no matter the trim did not have them available.

They're the most useful feature of the car imo, considering the terrible rear visibility.

Do you have the MyLink radio? If so, I believe it already has the required inputs & you can connect one up fairly easily ... you can get a water proof, night vision camera off Amazon for under $50.00, comes with all the wiring/cables you need. If you don't, you can get a camera/display combo for under $200; again, fairly easy install
