My Mountain Run Today Pictures But No Video

I got up this morning and decided to take the ZL1 on a mountain run. It was a little over 100 miles to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway just below Ashville NC. I drove 110-120 miles round trip on the Parkway. I put 325-330 miles on the car today.
It was my first time doing something like that in my Camaro. It was a blast. I don't have a camera or a phone mount that I could put the phone in to make videos. I did stop and take a few pictures.
I saw several other performance cars, including two Camaros, while I was there. There was one group of five imports with the big wings on the back. There were quite a few motorcycles.
The only thing I didn't like about the ride was getting behind other vehicles that were driving slow. There are no passing lanes so you have to pass when you think you have enough room.

Great pictures and car. Lot's of familiar views, since I have spent a fair amount of time in those areas. Thanks for the post.

What! No edited video? Are you enjoying driving the car more than social media?

Glad you had good weather for it. This was last Friday on parkway just south of Maggie Valley. As expected, it rained all day, so the jaunt was brief.

its an awesome area to drive, but yeah always hard to tell what the weather will be up there on the high elevations of the parkway, it changes constantly. i've gotten into some fog so thick i had to just crawl and watch the center and shoulder lines. love it on a clear day though. the real treat are the roads that lead up to and off of the parkway!
