TCI Line Lock Installed - Burnout Time
I finally got around to installing my new line lock system. I'm going to put up a how to video soon, still working on editing it at the moment.

That’s awesome. I can’t wait for the tire, axle, driveline and Diff replacement videos too! (LOL)

BMR Trailing Arms & Bracket Racer Drag Pack (Race Star Wheels, MT Drag Radials and Skinnies Up Front) coming next. We will see how long these axles last, being that it is an auto I don't get any wheel hop so they may last a while. A built tranny, one piece drive shaft and 1000 HP axles are on my hit list.

Nice, what wheels and tires are you running? What kind of time are you running? Without a line lock we stress the rear from engaging the rear brakes as well as the front, the kit from Summit with the bent brake line was about $165 shipped and came in about two days. You would like it, I'm sure. |

Thanks, yeah I was a little concerned about movement but it seems with the line lock compared to power braking the rear end stays planted and doesn't move. As for the tires, those were my good street tires so they won't see anymore burnouts for a while but my drag radials will be on soon. Working on fitting up some new 17" Race Stars Front & Rear, should be a good combo to compliment the line lock at the track. |
