Thanks. When they first announced the CE cars and only 50 were going to be released outside the US I thought I'd never see one, never mind get lucky enough to get one. I usually buy a new diesel truck every 5 years and this is about the same price as a new diesel truck. I'll just run my existing truck for another 5 years to justify it, at least that is what I am telling my wife...

(I shut the door with a single finger on the weatherstripping to this day, and mine isn't a collectors' edition, just a plain vanilla 2SS Very special to me, though.)

As do I lol. Don't want to touch the paint, or the glass that I work so hard to keep crystal clear! This matte is going to be a bear to keep clean. Looks pretty sleek I must say though.

Remember the matte black CFI on the 2012 ZL1 that didn't last long. That think was tough to clean without marking it up and GM changed to gray w/ clearcoat. At least this does have a clear coat on it and shouldn't be too bad to keep up.

Here's number 117 of 350 that I just brought back to NC from OK. Just out of curiosity, if anyone knows what a good wax or detail spray is for the matte paint. The one photo is at the dealer in OK, and the other is at the hand wash yesterday in NC. But I can see it is going to be a water spotter. I'm just not sure what works best on the matte paint color. Thanks

As for the paint, you need to read the owners manual on what it says on how to care for that paint. If you can't find anything there, check the Cadillac Blackwing forums since that color has been on the Blackwings.
