Brake Bias
On a completely stock system, is there a way to change the brake bias?
I was talking about a track day with some fellow auto-xers and told them that under hard braking the rear would get a little squirrely. One of them said that there might be too much rear bias. So I was wondering if there is a way to get a smidge more front bias? |

When you say completely stock system are your brake pads stock as well? If not do you have different brands or different materials in front vs. back?
I track at Sebring and brake much harder and longer than autocross and I don't have any feeling of the rear end getting squirrely. My system is also stock except for the pads. As for adjusting bias, I don't know of a way this can be done on a stock system. Maybe try bleeding the brakes again? Last edited by breakskeet; 05-08-2019 at 10:54 AM. |
