Already fits in the Camaro, and for that matter shouldn't be a problem in any of the Alpha chassis cars or even trucks which are supposedly getting the 10 speed.

As you point out, it fits and is already in the program with the ZL1. Simplifying their production strategy would be reason enough to put it in the SS.

Because the GT350 will be gone for 2019, the thought is that the much better (than the 15,16,17) 2018 GT replaces the outgoing GT350 imo. Plus the 2018 GT received other tweaks other than HP and Cup 2's for braking and handling. Personally I hope the SS1LE will still conquer the GTPP2, if not all Camaro needs to do is to be fitted with the R spec eagle F1's which is the competitive Goodyear tire to the Michelin cup 2's
Is the GT PP2 going to be a 2018 MY or 2019 MY. If it is a 2018 then I doubt it will out handle the base GT350.

Should be an absolute no brainer.

I though I read the PP2 will be available in the spring or maybe it was later this year which would be on the 2018 IMO.

Spring. Some speculate it will split the difference between the GT350 and PP1 in terms of track times. We shall see.

I think the PP2 will certainly have more grip, and pull more G's than a bas GT350. The Cup 2's are just so much stickier, and 305's all around is serious rubber!!

I am curious if the GT350 still proves to be more composed and 'put together' though in comparison. One seems to me to be a ground up purpose built car, and the other a GT with tons of tire slapped on it(not offensively, the 5th Gen 1LE was pretty much that).

Excited to see what the PP2 can do, and how they look when hitting lots Spring. Really hoping Ford ends up offering an affordable solution to NO coolers. Still such a WTF thing to do, but easy enough to resolve I think. If they decide to anyway.
