HRE FF04s in Liquid Metal

Just got my car back from my friends at Esoteric Fine Auto Finishing. The backend took a pretty good beating this summer from all the road grime this car seems to kick up during normal driving. I had Suntek Ultra paint protection film added to the backend to go along with the paint protection film that was applied to the front end, mirrors and side-rockers back in January.

While the car was at Esoteric, I thought I change up the look a little with some liquid metal HRE FF04s wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4Ss. Couldn't be more please with the way everything turned out.

Thank you for the business as always...the ZL1 looks incredible with the addition of the FF04's!

I can't wait until my ZL1 1LE arrives.

The wheels and car look amazing! They really make the car stand out. Please share your thoughts on the MP4S vs the OE Goodyear’s.

You're welcome. It's always a pleasure to do business with you and your team.

I'm looking forward to a ride in that ZL1 1LE when it arrives.

I only put about 50-60 miles on them today so I really can't make a good comparison just yet. They do seem to give a little smoother ride than the Goodyears. Bumps in the road didn't feel nearly as pronounced. But that could be from just being brand new tires.

It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow but cooler. I hope to get a more seat time with them tomorrow.

No problem. The world would be a boring place if we all had the same likes and dislikes.

I think I'd get some ZL1 Addon Rock Guards! Protect that paint!

I've seriously considered getting the windows tinted. I'm just afraid it will make it more difficult for me to see out of the car at night.

It's not bad at all, and I'd even recommend tinting the windshield 70%. It actually helps reduce glare at night from oncoming headlights and such. Most cars we do these days include windshields as well. I'd recommend 35% on the sides and back, and 70% up front.

Come over at the end of the day and any one of us can give you a ride around in our cars with tinted windows and windshield to give you a good idea as to what it's like.

As for the looks...it would look absolutely amazing on that car. I'll be doing the same level on my 1LE when it comes in.

Already have a set of front guards on the car. No question they help prevent rock chips on the quarter panel before the rear wheels.

Here's a good businessman. Always trying to get the customer to spend more money. Maybe we'll talk window tint when the carbon fiber film becomes an option.
