Don't make the same mistake as me.

Man I feel like an idiot. So I picked my boys up from school ran home to change into comfortable clothes leaving the car running while I ran in to change. Came out, left, drove around for a while decided to go get food. Went to Pizza Hut and when we walked out to the car after eating I realized I didn't have the FOB key. I never locked the car so I was able to get in the car and put the top back up but couldn't turn the car on. I'm stuck 5 miles from my house. Luckily I have a great neighbor who was home went into my house got the FOB and brought it to me. Otherwise we would have had a long walk ahead of us.

What on earth? The car lets you drive off without the key or at least a warning the key is missing???

I keep my keys on a carabiner, which I keep clipped on my belt loop, then half stuff it in the nearest pocket. OP, you should look into this

something like this google pic I found

It was in my pocket. I changed into different pants. Didn't realize the problem until we got done eating.

Hmm... well, here's another carabiner solution you may need to consider...

just don't change your ears out like you do with your pants and forget them...

then put it in your front loop and into your front pocket... that's what I do, I cant stand anything on my rear pockets, not even a wallet.

I am surprised it is possible - wow. Is that how other keyless systems work?
