Talking I modified my 2009 Cadillac CTS-V...

I installed a crank pulley, cold-air intake box, and a tune. Picked up 103 rwhp and 96 ft-lbs with these few mods. Get ready for that ZL1 Camaro, it shares the same engine and will react the same way with modifications!

Yes, the 4-door is a whole lot more fun now

Talking I modified my other LSA equipped car....

Get ready for that ZL1 Camaro, it shares the same engine and will react the same way with modifications! It will likely use the same crank pulley too, meaning there are already mods available for the ZL1.

Nice gain for minimal mods.

Mike, with a factory LS9 camshaft/valvesprings and a set of longtube headers, these cars are putting down over 600 rwhp with the pulley/airbox I have on mine. Mike from G-Force went 10.80 @ 129 mph about 2 weeks ago in his '09 CTS-V with those mods. Mine is likely in the 11.4-11.5 range at the moment. You can probably guess what my next two mods would be. I already have the cam sitting here....

Better leave the traction control turned on or this might happen

That's awesome Tony! I'm sure it feels like a different animal now and it will only get more beastly with that LS9 cam and headers.

I know it's unrelated to this specific topic, but can you give some feed back on how the lowering springs have affected the ride of your CTS-V? Of course the ZL1 will share a similar magnetic ride suspension to your V, and I'm very interested knowing how lowering with this system changes the factory feel in both touring and sport settings. I love the look with less wheel well gap as it provides a much improved stance, but messing around with this system has me nervous.

Thanks for any input you can provide and congrats on the upgrade!

Like I said in other threads. It will be easy to get the LSA to 700HP reliably

If it's not a secret, what's the damage run on these mods? I'm hoping that it's as reasonable as I've heard. Do tell...........

CTS-V parts are not inexpensive at all.
Here's just an example of what they are paying right now. Then again this is the highest package LPE offers.

My hope is that prices will drop once the ZL1 comes out. But that is most likely not going to happen
