I paid 4k for Suntek on the front end, and Modesta Ceramic coating on the entire body and wheels. It looks amaze-balls though. The ceramic wheel coating is amazing, brake dust just rinses right off now

I think you should seriously consider the Suntek. They are both 10 yr warranties and same thinkness. But clarity is just phenomenal on Suntek ultra.

.
This....

My film installer (who's been doing it for 10+ years) prefers Suntek. While Xpel is a good film, they have an online PR department that is there to hype the product. It's one of the reasons you hear so much about it. Suntec has better clarity and is much easier to remove -- according to him. The dude just won the gold metal in the international protective film competition, so I trust his opinion.

I have a 2009 Tacoma with the 3M as a bra (bumper, headlights, front of hood and fenders). Was installed when I bought it new. That's 8 years of sun. No yellowing whatsoever. It is a partial on the hood and fenders and the line is now way more noticeable that when it was new. Orange peel is noticeable, more so on the headlights. Truck color is speedway blue (a bright blue).

How are the prices for Suntek vs Xpel. I priced Xpel locally and it was pretty crazy. Wouldn't mind doing Suntek, but it would have to be a good bit cheaper.

3M “Pro” = soooo nice. Accepts all protectants and self heals. Trust it!

Sunktek is even more expensive than Xpel. At least around here. Seems to be the better product. Suntek is also easier to install on this car, especially with all the angles. Might get better results with seams.

Maybe I get a good deal since we send our installer a lot of business, but I only paid $700 for my SunTek install. That was entire front fascia and splitter, headlights, rocker panels, side mirrors, the section in front of the rear tires, the section behind the rear tires (the black part and some of the body colored part), and the lower 4" or so of my doors and front fenders.

I've seen some crazy prices thrown around here, so I think I got a good deal anyway. Well worth the peace of mind to me anyway.

I did a full body xpel with multiple coats of ceramic pro coatings over xpel, windows rims and calipers. About 8k. Extreme I know but very happy with result and my garnet red looks even more amazing with the coating. Part of the cost was removing and replacing badging which I had all smoked before putting back on. I then paid a bit more to tint all windows, side markers and tail lights. Very very happy with the result.
