had to replacement stock battery 5 1/2 years later
The keyless wouldnt work anymore, very sluggish. It was slow on the start to start. Went to autozone, and got a new battery. Works fine again.

Mine only lasted about 3 years. I bought the top of the line battery and put it in there.

Yep, had to replace mine around the same time. Although I believe Kaufmann tire jump started my batteries death by doing something during the alignment check.

That's a good haul. Mine was going strong at 6+ years this winter and I replaced it preemptively to avoid problems. Only issue I was noticing was a sluggish start sometimes.

Did the same on mine yesterday, had the original battery for 6 years but the voltage was under 12 in the mornings. Went ahead and replaced it before I got left stranded on the side of the road again.

took my car to a mechanic today, and he said I soon due for a battery change as well. What batteries did you guys/OP go for- just curious? I went to the dealer today for some minor purchases, and decided to price the battery. The salesman at chevy said $175 is that fair? to much?
My mechanic said I dont need to go to the dealer for a battery. Autozone would be fine, and said the interstate brand is good. Thoughts? Apologies if Im thread jacking OP

Autozone was 180 with a $20 mail in rebate. It came with three year no hassle warranty and two more years with credit toward new battery.

Anyone tried the light weight Braille battery?
I expect mine'll be going soon too and thought if there was any good feedback I'd try that one. Any thoughts/opinions? |
