I’ve had a single and twins, two Centri blowers, and two PD chargers.. I vote PD everyday of the week up to 1k HP. As a matter of fact, I am in the mids of building 1k whp 3rd gen PD setup as we speak. Waiting for whipple to release new 3.8L for LS!! If my patience can’t hold, there will be a very tough decision between 2650 and 3.0L whipple.

Everything I am speaking of down here is over 1000 whp even on Mr. Hutters low reading Mustang dyno and the PD blower cars just do not hook good off the line on the street with small tires even with top notch suspension, the torque at low rpm is over 1000 foot pounds and the pro chargers are friendlier on the low end torque and hooking up. Now I can agree with you on the street with 700 to 800 whp PD blower cars on the street with small tires.

Weird I E-mailed Whipple about if they had anything new coming out for 10-15 LS3's and if they would have any deals on upgrading from the 2.9. The response I got said they had nothing planned.

Here’s your best bet from whipple at the moment. Puts up VERY close numbers to the larger 4.5L charger, and does it more efficiently.
Very impressive unit and very price pointed, I bet it’s a violent little fu****!

I pulled the trigger on this kit, due to the larger unit being postponed.. Going on an 11:1, LS7 head, Dart PRO 427, running E.

3.8L was held up due to component shortages, I think they are redirecting towards a 3.4L…
