2017 Gripes------>2018 Changes

Now that a fair amount of people have their 2017 ZL1s, what are some gripes you have about it?
Also, if you are holding out until 2018, and don't currently have a ZL1 (like me), what do you want to see added or removed?

I will go first:
1. I'm hoping for either a new gray or red exterior color.
2. I want to see more option for the brake caliper color outside silver.
3. I, like many others, want a more aggressive standard wheel with less spokes.
4. Maybe Chevy can add an Adaptive Cruise Control option.
5. Add the door LED trim, odometer trim, and shifter trim onto the carbon fiber interior trim option.

Upgrade the S/C from 1.7 to 2.3 (like the one in ZR1). This way the S/C doesn't have to work so hard and will run more efficient and cooler.

I only have a few "gripes"

1. The controls to open and close the windows are too far back. I am of average height, 5'10, and i have to move my arm back, awkwardly to open hit the controls. A little annoying.
2. The back seat is WAY too small. Yeah I know...its a sports car. But my 2013 ZL1 had at least 4 more inches of leg room..which is a lot if you wanna have someone in the back seat. Maybe thats where they lost the weight.

Those are the only 2 that I can think of right now. LOVE my car

2.
You noticed that too I see. Everything is so well laid out. Everything just 'fits' and flows so well in the Gen6......until you want to open the window.
I agree that the window switch is out of place being far back like that.

Add some different interior colors, not everyone likes black with red stitching. A full leather option too.

As a potential buyer, this would be my single biggest bitch. I hate black interiors and I live in a VERY hot climate.

Finally saw a ZL1 in person yesterday. Those wheels are too busy looking. The visibility of the plastic bumper cover behind the grill is distracting. Otherwise, I couldn't stop drewling over it. It was black at Rick Hendrix Chevrolet in Richmond, VA and some lady from SC bought it.

Along the same lines, the floor console storage compartment is too far back. I'm 5' 8" and with the driver's seat in the drive position I can't reach anything in the console storage compartment without some significant body contortions. For me the seat has to be all the way back to get anything out of the compartment.

My second major gripe is the break-in mileage. 1500 miles is just too much. I'd like to see the break-in mileage reduced to 500. Even a reduction to 1000 miles would be a big improvement.

I have a Z/28 and have had a couple Gen6 rental cars and immediately noticed the back seat is essentially gone. It's definitely where they shed weight among other things.

Honestly, my two biggest things is to make the cluster "double-hump" more lower profile or eliminate it and to add some additional small cargo places (i.e. for cell phone, wallet items and other pocket items; even one (1) additional place would be nice).
