So who's planning on buying a 2021 SS1LE A10 auto?
I know it got alot of hate, but so did the C7 auto Z06 when people found out that was coming. And wouldn't you know it, it was the most popular combo of car for that model...
I think we are going to see the same trend with the SS 1LE. Personally I had a 2017 1LE and I was SO SICK of driving manual. But I wanted all the cool parts and options the 1LE had so I had no choice. Now, we can have the best of all worlds. Im planning on getting one. Who else? |

I got my car right before the corona pandemic , so driving manual during the quarantine hasnt been an issue because there is zero traffic , but thats all about to change , if i was buying a 2021 i wouldnt rule out the A10..ive seen enough videos of the A10 ZL1 on a track and it is impressive

I actually ruled out a 1LE when I was shopping my 2020 2SS because of it only being a M6... I live in SoCal (unfortunately) and eventually this car will be my daily driver (in a couple years), the thought of SoCal traffic with a manual was too much to take... Plus, in the end, the A10 is a faster car than an M6...
The other reasons I shied away from the 1LE was the matte black hood wrap, black mirrors and black spoiler... I really like the color matched items on the 2SS... The ONE thing I REALLY wanted from the 1LE... The wheel and tire package... (My 2SS has MRC and NPP, I would have liked the 6 piston brakes from the 1LE but not at the expense of all the rest of the stuff).

To be honest i was hoping they would have put the A10 in the 2020.If they did have i would have ordered my 2SS 1LE with the A10.I have owned sticks in the past and don't mind my new 1LE with a manual.But these new auto just can't be beat when i comes to overall performance.If they would have kept Rally Green for 2021.I think i would have traded my car in for a 1LE with the A10.

With the strong possibility of shoulder surgery (right shoulder), in the near future, my days of driving stick are numbered.
I will gladly welcome the addition of a 10-spd auto equipped 1LE. Bring it on.

I think it’s great for there to be choices for everyone. But when I think of a 1LE, I think purist, lighter weight, inexpensive, low optioned race car with a manual.
1SS manual for me, please.

Saying an A10 is faster is like telling your friend that your chunky girl friend is smarter than his hot girl friend that is amazing in bed. Yes the a10 is faster but the manual is more fun. I won't buy a c8 because they don't offer a manual.

My 1LE is a weekend fun car, so the A10 would take away some of that fun.
I know the A10 is faster, but for me there's nothing like the music of a V8 manual going through the gears.

I got screwed out of a job when shopping for an 02 6 speed. Sadly same thing again in 04-05 with the GTO. I will order a 2021(when orders can actually be placed) with a 6 speed. I will have one before I die lol (unless by some miracle a car exactly what I want is built and in dealer stock when the resume 2020 production)

If I bought an automatic it would be a second car. The 1LE is my DD for now, but working from home there hasn't been much need to drive it

I have had my 18' 2SS 1LE for 2 years now. I have no plans to replace it that quickly. I plan to keep it 2-3 years longer then it will be replaced with either...
