Actually, most people die in bed. That's why they call it death bed when you're terminally ill.

Tonight I'll sleep in the couch

Your commute will have a drastic effect on this as well. Driving in 4 lanes of packed traffic five days a week poses much more of a threat to you than taking back roads to work outside of the city.

The article doesn't want to get detailed about things DUI or the fact that the Dodge cars have the highest repo rates in the US.

For the Camaro to be RWD and packing more horsepower tells me that it should be much more prone to fatalities but yet "sensible" little cars fared worse.

Agreed with that point for sure. I avoid the the hwy at all costs almost always. If I need to get somewhere quick (usually not the case) then I will jump on the hwy. I find zero pleasure driving hwys... weather that be my DD, Camaro, or Harley.

That being said, you can always find the "gaps" between the cluster fuc&^ of cars when on the highway. I don't know if you notice, but around here if you are riding the hwy, cars to not like riding alone. If they are alone they tend to speed up until they are tailgating someone. I always find the gaps in those clusters and that is where I like to stay.

The only thing to fear, is God. I fear nothing else and put my whole life in HIS hands.
Long as you stay in his good grace, you will be protected. Unless it is your time as HIS will desires.

The Lord has kept me and my family safe so far, flawlessly.

Having watched some pretty good people die right before my eyes, knowing that they would have preferred to stick around, I'm not inclined to take a whatever happens, happens point of view.

The Lord gave us brains for a reason.

Yes, and the gun loads and fires itself.

Wasn't it George Carlin that said, "take a chance every once in a while".

I've never bought a vehicle for "safety" reasons and never will. I drive cautiously when warranted, don't drink and drive, wear a seat belt, etc. Can't do much more, other than walking or riding a bicycle everywhere. Not going to live my life in fear of what "might" happen.

The windshield frame on the Camaro convertible is strong enough to serve as a roll bar. Plus, electronic nannies are in place to keep the car from rolling, except in cases of extreme stupidity.

I agree with you guys, no heavy freeway driving with a vert. Believe it or
Not in rush hour, aholes in other cars would throw trash and drinks
In my car when the top was down. After a few times of that the top
Was never down on the freeway. But my 18' 1ss coupe saved me
On the freeway when a pipe let loose on a truck in front of me. Deflected
Off the roof but it still smashed out the front glass. It was 1 week old. If it had been
In a vert i would have been harpooned. I drive a vert now and i actually
Feel safer then my coupe, strange as it sounds. While driving the coupe
On the freeway i would always think how in the hell would i get out of the
Car if it rolled. Iam a big guy and dont think i could squeeze out any of the
Windows.
