Chicago reveal possible?
I was looking at the 2015 Commemorative Edition Camaro on the Chicago Auto Show website and noticed that they specified this:
"this special edition model celebrates the success of the fifth-generation Camaro, and marks the final year for the fifth generation." I know I know, this has been said tons of times before. But doesn't this help solidify the late 2015 release of the 6th gen? As well, wouldn't it be convenient to just happen to set a 6th gen beside it on one of the days? Maybe I'm just getting too excited, I'm wanting a 6th gen to be the first car I purchase out of college 100% on my own so I can barely stand the wait anymore. |

I don't think we will see the C6 Camaro until the New York Auto Show.

Anything is possible.
As for New York, Cadillac is revealing the CT6, so GM might not want the CT6 and Camaro splitting attention.

It would not make sense for GM to display a final special edition next to the new model.. Who would want to buy the oul outdated "special edition" then?

I don't think GM is going to reveal too much this early in the year. I'm sure they don't want to hurt the sales of the 2015 camaro. Im just saying, if I was in the market now for a new camaro and saw the 6th gen with better hp/weight ratio...ect, then I would wait and buy the 6th and not the 15. I think they want to sell off as many 15s before they introduce the 16, so they won't have to discount as many 15s to sell them. ALL ABOUT THE $$$$. I am however dying to see what GM does to answer back to the new mustangs and challengers. I hope they don't disappoint

There are always more than enough people who don't like the new model, would rather get a good deal on the outgoing model, or simply don't know about the new model.

This is exactly what happened with me. I was looking at 1LE's, then realized that the 6th will possibly release soon so I might as well wait and at least see what they bring out with em.
