mine made all kinds of noise. I had them replaced twice at the dealer. never changed. the first time i never made it outta the parking lot. the second time i made it about two miles down the road. So i said the hell with it and put on new rotors and brakes from KOI. I used the wagner thermoquiet brakes. Never had an issue since.

The first step to the solution is letting Chevy Customer Service know. There is a chevy customer service guy who has posted in this thread. If you PM him, and we all tell him the same problems, Chevy will get the idea and hopefully put a TSB on a fix for us.

Hey btw, the SS has TSBs out on this issue. V6 camaros do not however. Lucky for you, you are covered. We are not.

All added above. Please, if you have a problem, let Chevy Customer Service know! That is what they are there for!

The best (and most direct) way to address this with the people who care is to ask your dealer to open a case-file and put in a warranty claim for it (if they can replicate the issue, of course).

These reports will go straight to the Camaro team. And if it's really a problem - they'll do something about it.

I can say I haven't had an issue since Hare Chevrolet took mine in and lubricated the moving parts. Its been all good ever since! I went in for service last Friday and they asked me if the brakes were still quiet and I had to tell them they've been quiet the way that I want them to be. That initial service for the noise was done first of June and I've put a couple of thousand on it since then, plus some laps out at IMS.
