So you mean like most women that get plastic surgery?

So are you a purist? Nothing but the classic look intended by the design team for you? Or are you open to some changes, just not that drastic?

I have so many questions on this topic alone! For example, are carbon fiber parts worth it? Will getting the front splitter, sides, and rear fascia in carbon fiber reduce weight significantly, or is it mostly about looks? To me, it seems like the most significant weight shaving can be done by replacing the hood with a carbon fiber, but even then, how much weight are we really talking about and, most importantly, is it really worth the cost? For someone like me, of course. I'm sure there's plenty of people on both sides of the issue.

Subtle enhancements and some nice wheels will do wonders for most cars.
Do you have any examples of what you personally consider acceptable? I have an idea of where I draw the line, but I've seen some pretty far out designs out there. Granted, they're mostly for shock value and magazines whose sole purpose is to make you spend money you don't have.

How do you all feel about them? I've included a picture of what I am referring to and a reference picture for what I usually see around here and other places.

More common recently:

So what do you think about it?
I love the look of a nice molded wide body kit, today's bolt-on look is a huge turn off for me. Just not my style I suppose, but I know some people love it so too each there own.

I'm very open to changes, I like modifications. When it comes to the classics, I actually prefer restomods. But tacking on these wide bodies looks pure hideous 99% of the time.

To each their own but a WB kit is definitely not for me. Looks to much 'added on' and doesn't flow with the lines of the car. Kind of reminds of some things that Nissan does with their trucks as far as fender flares, etc. Just, well, ugh.

Just my two cents.

I saw the black CCR car at Daytona last year. While it's still not for everybody, it definitely has to be seen in person to be appreciated as pictures just don't give the same effect. Fit & finish was actually really good.
