November 2016 Delivery (sales) Stats:

Camaro November 2016 Deliveries (actual sales): 4,893 -8% (Pr Ye)

Compared to Competition:

Mustang November 2016 Delivery (sales): 6,196 -15% (Pr Ye)
Challenger November 2016 Delivery (sales):3,908 -9% (Pr Ye)

ouch, bad for all of them. I am sure the election, winter coming, etc all had major factors.

Wait until gas prices spike....sales will drop even more...we had a long time of cheap gas...

Pretty sure that winter was coming last November too.

I have no clue how the election would affect things one way or the other. It shouldn't make any difference because it doesn't really have any effect on 99.99% of the factors that affect whether someone buys a car or not. But reality doesn't much care about what a person thinks should or shouldn't happen. Additionally, I can't possibly fathom how the election would affect Camaro sales negatively but Chevy sales positively (up 5%). Same story with Ford: Mustang was down, Ford is up.

I think these numbers or close to them will be more common than the 12k Mustang was getting..

I think there were a lot of factors to the string of 10,000+ months the Mustang was having..

Pent up demand, excitement over a new generation, stronger economy, etc.

I agree however, I think these numbers are all more realistic given present conditions.
