I have magically disappearing posts. What I tried to say, is one, Great looking car. Love the black and it's what I was looking for when I bought mine in 2010.
Second, lose that ugly dealer logo on your trunk lid. UGLY. I tell them specifically DO NOT put your emblem on my car and if it's already there, part of the deal to buy is removing it.

Nice SS! You'll love it! As people have said, the gauges have nothing to do with the RS package. The former owner had it installed, most likely.

Looks like a 2SS just from the looks of the red SS badge in your grill & the halo's, unless those were added by the previous owner.

The red SS badge is part of the RS package.
Do you have leather interior, heads up display? Those are part of the 2SS package but yes the 4 gauge cluster could have been added to a 1SS car. Nice looking ride, congrats and keep reading, there is a wealth of info on here. Not sure about your HAI, LOL but check out CAI brand. |

Yeah, the dealer logo is already gone, that pic was taken right after I got her home. And the car does not have leather or HUD. It's kinda oddball really. I've not seen many 1SS cars with RS, sunroof and the gauge cluster. Starting to think the PO added the gauges.
I was thinking about picking up a stock airbox and adding the SLP Blackwing stage 1 kit. Half the cost of most of the others, and more to my liking. Or the Vararam is interesting. My main concern is that the one on the car now is allowing too much dirt into the engine. There is no name on the filter, who knows how good it is. |
