My first one I ordered (ZL1 vert) took 4 months. There was an "accident " with that one from some detail guys at the dealer. I had an option to order another one. The second one took less than a month, but Im sure alot of strings were pulled for that to happen

These cars are built in canada, correct? Does anyone know if they work 3 shifts there and 7days a week? I have been told they only work 8 hours a day and 40 hr weeks. I have also been told they only build the ZL1 certain times of the month. I am just trying to educate myself on these cars.Does anyone know any answers of the above questions? Thanks

I'm not certain on shift work, but the part about the ZL1s being cued only at certain times is correct. Same thing with regular Camaros and convertibles.
I believe that they run at least 2 shifts probably not a graveyard shift though.

From mine being queued for production and being built it took about 2.5 months for it to arrive at my dealer. However, I live fairly close to the production plant and my ZL1 never touched a rail car it was trucked the whole way to my house. Yours will probably be sent by train which may add time.

I have waited 7 months and still don't have mine. It has been built and is just waiting to be shipped. Canadians generally have a longer wait as fewer are allocated to dealers here based on population / order density.

They make the ZL1 one week out of every month. I don't know what week it is. You could also check with Becky on this forum. She can give you up to date status on your car if you have not already checked with her. Just give her your order number.Hope this helps!

There used to be a website called GMConnects that you could use to track your order. Sadly it was run completely by volunteers and in order to continue working they would have required significant upgrades to work with the GM computing systems. They shut down a little bit ago.

Apparently they're still working with GM to try and make it a permanent feature that GM provides or helps pay GMConnects to provide.

I have been going to another web page and have been tracking my order there but it does not tell you much. I hope they get the deal going again but it will probably be back up running after I get my car,if I get it!
