The front end looks good I'd even say great from a heads on view but from any angle to the side it looks out of proportion to the rest of the car.

The tail end just seems like it messed with what distinguished a C5 from the rest of the cars on the road (4 brake lights adopted from corvette styling) I still think it looks good but not distinguished.

Overall I like the refresh but I love pre-refresh.

I'd need to see a '14 in person to really make any kind of judgement, but I'll just be happy to get back into a... kinda F-body. Not a fan of 4-doors anymore.

This discussion reminds me about when the steering wheel was updated. People who had the original style (many of whom complained about them being too big...) freaked out over the new wheel. Now that they have been out there for awhile and many owners of the new style are now members of Camaro5 it is a non-event. The same will happen with the 2014 updates. I think many people don't like their cars becoming "old" when updates occur.

In the car business, you have to stretch a bit with design, otherwise the style gets old and boring soon after launch. I think over time those uncomfortable with the 2014 styling will eventually warm to it. If not, enjoy your current 5th Gen!

Outdated but better. If you update something and make it worse, then the original is still better.
