Got a Nikon D3300 for xmas with the 18-55mm lens. I'm looking at picking up a used 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 lens to use for when I go watch some races in 2016. Do you have a DSLR or SLR? I've still got a 35mm Canon lol

I have a Nikon D90, D7000 and just ordered a D750 (along with a Sigma Art 24-105mm f2.8). That 70-300 will be nice at the races.

Very nice collection there. Yeah I searched around and read up on good lenses to use for motor racing and it's a good thing I did as I would've ended up with a 55-200mm with slower auto focus. Wouldn't have been very happy with my pictures lol

maybe you can get one of those 500mm f4 lens, that would really be sweet for getting close to the action. Of course you need to rob a bank or two to purchase it..but hey, it's all about the picture.
