Lol no, just doesn't make sense that one is that much more than the other, just because of color.

Yea I have no idea other than one is branded 3M automotive and not just painters tape. They probably say some crap of how it's specially formulated for your paint and blah blah blah.

Just did a quick google search. The yellow is thinner, for more crisp line for painting. Lol. Get blue

I believe the blue tape is "all purpose" and the green/yellows are specifically automotive. Automotive tape gives sharper edges for painting and come off easily even if left on during the baking process of painting. Otherwise, all 3 are supposed to come off without leaving residue behind.

That makes sense. Honestly I don't care how stupid the car will look just long as it saves my paint from all those damn rock chips. My cruze with 24K miles has less rock chips than my Camaro with 5.5K

It will help with rock chips, but also make it easier to clean off the bugs
