My dealer submitted my order 6/15 and they still haven't received any allocation. I check my order status daily with Chevy Chatbot but still not accepted by GM. At this point, should I just assume I won't get my order and look for a 2023 Camaro nearby that is similar to my build? Especially with possible strike and all???

My order for a 2ss 1le was submitted Tuesday 8/29 with a dealer that said they have the allocation. I found out yesterday from a pretty reliable source that there will be no more 1le orders being placed after 8/29. So I’m not too sure what will happen. Hopefully mine makes the cutoff, planning on calling the dealer tomorrow to try and get some information.

The 1LE Suspension Package is no longer available as an option, but the complete 1LE package is (including the suspension). It may be your source misunderstood the difference?

Was hoping I could pick up some ZL1 or SS allocations that other dealers might have turned down or forgot to place due to the holiday. No such luck. Have to order 2 V6s today.

Just sad news there. Quick question, Gearhead, you mentioned your ordered today. I thought dealers get their allocations on Thursday’s, not Tuesdays? Or is it a holiday thing.

We do. I got 2 allocations Thursday but for V6 only. That doesn't really mean anything though as every 2024 allocation I've gotten so far was for a V6 and I've been able to pick up 3 V8s by waiting until Tuesday to place my orders.

It's too difficult and lengthy to explain the entire process but it's essentially a way to work the GM order system in the hopes that a dealer that did get a V8 or ZL1 allocation either doesn't accept it or doesn't place it. When that happens, that allocation goes to another dealer that has an allocation for Camaro but might not have a V8 or ZL1 allocation. So far, I've picked up 2 SS 1LEs and a 2SS convertible for 2024 by doing this. The constraints this week were not in my favor so I just placed a 1LT and a 2LT order.

I'm in DFW and have had orders in at Classic Cleburne and Classic Grapevine for a pricey V6 Manual (see below). Nothing from either. If there's any way of getting this ordered (if PinkMKgirl doesn't want to take you up on it since she was first) I'd appreciate it.
