BTW

BTW, if anyone is interested, read my post on the suede wrapped steering wheel. The dealership is not just some evil demon lurking in the corner, rubbing his hands together, grinning and drooling and waiting to pounce on the next vict...err customer to stroll into his shop!

Well first we'll all have to contact our congressmen, senators, and possibly state rep.s to have the Federal and any state anti-trust laws that outlaw this changed, if that's even possible. As of now it is illegal for GM to do so.

Not your entire life. Before that you sold Ties at Randy River right?

And here in lies the reason why dealerships have such bad reputations. The employees suck and don't give a damn about your car.

If I wasn't getting paid would I go to work, no. Do I go there and watch a clock and phone it in, no.
I treat my clients with respect and would never ever mishandle any inventory. The dealership doesn't own the car until someone buys it. They are supposed to look after someones future baby.

Elaine, you have every right to be ticked. The people in this thread who say otherwise don't seem to care about their cars, or much else.

Would you buy an iPhone that was opened and used for a month as new?

Or a dishwasher that was installed and had a few loads of sand ran through it, just for testing?

Does that mean they can abuse it and then sell it to someone as new? No.

And they don't own it as it is not titled yet. And they probably finance it anyways and it is held by trans america or someone else.

You must be employed by a dealership? Its good that you make the comments that you do...why? Because it proves to the rest of us that were right on our thoughts about dealerships. There terrible on customer service, they are only there to make money and hire people with zero customer skills= you

I have almostva perfect csi rating..

I have owned 2 corvettes, 1 911, 1cts v, 3 mustangs and all baught from dealerships, and something I have learned is, THERE ARE NO car people in the car bis.. 1in 20 even have a clue to what they are actually selling.. my salesman that work under me are drilled by me on a weekly basis and I actually bringcars of other brands in to have them study. The customer who thinks there 55000 camaro or corvette is more important to us than the guy who buys the truck are the one who have no idea what is actually happening. Im sorry you feel your car was molested by the salesmanager but im here to tell u its just another car, just another piece of metal..
Dealerships as a whole actually dread dealing with people like you because you worry to much and thinl uour car is more important than the guy with the Malibu in front of you at the service desk..

These cars are not made of glass. Gm builds these drivelines to be beaten on.. I can tell 95% of the people concerned with this have never even seen the inside of a engine and have no idea that things like rings and actual piston skirt wear in is almost 100% done by 50 miles. Gm puts these break in procedures in because they need a reason to fall back on if a part fails.. its called the lawyer clause..

These engines are ran for over a hundred hours at wide open throttle at full load during durability testing.. you think the sm taking it out for a little jaunt hurt it?

The only smart thing iv seen this entire thread is when someone told you to complain on the survey, BUT, the only person that truly effects is the poor salesman trying to feed his kids. . Not the sm or anyone else..

I care about customer satisfaction a great deal, but unrealistic people who think dealerships run on hopes and dreams and not profit can buy there car somewhere else.. my guys need to eat..
