For FI

Then your gonna say that the GM ASA cam is the best for an NA BUILD too?
Nope I'm not gonna say the ASA cam is best for an N/A build. The only person I'd let spec a cam for me for an N/A build is Pat G. There can't be 1 cam that is the best for a specific N/A cam AND the best cam for that same car in a boosted application. My whole point guys!

You guys don't like my dealership bs? come on man...

And still you have not answered my questions, I'm sorry man but I think you should stop you obviously have some more learning to do about cams and valve events.

Shouldn't milling. 020-.030 get you to that 11.0-11.5 compression?

Yea but I'd mill then measure then mill (if I could) to get to the sweetest spot possible then order pushrods accordingly. I'm kinda anal lol like that. But compression both dynamic and static are important as well to me at least cause if I'm going in its gonna be th whole way lol.

What size pushrod will you use if you mill to an 11.5:1 compression?

Does compression really matter? I thought that had mostly to do with cam profile and pushrod length.

Well figure you are in essence thinning the head if you will. So your pushrod length will need to shorten, but it's hard to guess and ALWAYS gotta measure.
Stock lengths are 7.4 FYI.

Sorry guys... I thought you were talking 5/16" vs 3/8".

Part of the reason I know my car will be down for a week is because I have to order the pushrods after I have everything torn down. Gotta measure.

It makes for a better quench and free HP and TQ. A little better to tune. The profile had to do with dynamic compression. The pushrod length will be set to what the lifter preload is and the valve lash, It's set.
Hope I made sense, I'm boozin lol.
