Saving up as this will be my next big mod.

FWIW GForce had the rep as a go to for one piece DS along with DSS but don’t offer them anymore on their website. I asked why and was told by their sales mgr they were dropped from their product line because of supply chain issues …hmmm?

G Force and DSS I believe we're more popular because of marketing, when I first started look they were the only ones that people talked about or came up In a search. Aftera bit of research I came up with these other companies. To be fair DSS probably has more 5th Gen shafts out there then anyone else so you will hear more issues with them because of that.

Will it fit length wize from the trunk to the front with the rear seat down without getting in the way of the shifter so I can take it to get it installed?

I’d like to take advantage of the discount even though I wouldn’t be having it installed for a while. In the check out process there was a entry labeled “Measurement” …is there any measurement(s) I need to provide for replacing a stock driveshaft with stock rear? Also, how does the DS react when going over a speed bump with stick ride height?

When I ordered mine I just selected the 10-15 SS/ZL1 for auto trans. The only option I had to choose from was if I wanted the $50 sticker for SFI certification.

As far as speed bumps go, the diff and driveshaft do not move with the suspension at all. So I havent noticed any issues at all with that.

Gulf coast doesn't require any measurements just order it for your vehicle. Mines on the shelf as well and I'll install when I am working on something in that area or I get bored.

When you get a chance could you measure the length of the DS. I’d like to know so I can determine if it would fit length wize from the trunk to the front with the rear seat down without getting in the way of the shifter, so I’ll know if I’ll be able to take it in my car to get it installed or to have it shipped to the installer when I order it. Thanks in advance.

I'll measure it for you but I am 99.9 % sure it'll fit. I'll try to do it tomorrow.
