I guess I should have posted the dates too. 12-13 Oct. Unfortunately no vendors will be there, except for tire, fuel and food service. Plenty of toys with race mods to give you ideas though. Normally, lots of Vettes and last time there was a nicely modded 5th Gen and CTS-V. Four 5th Gens actually were on the track last time and we nearly outnumbered the Stangs.

It has been a hectic couples of years. The new bride and I took an impromptu trip up the mountain Saturday to have lunch and escape the heat. Realized after seeing a couple Camaros that it must be that time of the year.

Heading down to Sierra Vista today to pick up my '13 ZL1. Hopefully that will bring back some of the fire. I've always felt the need to be different, usually expressed through my cars and trucks, after the first couple of years no matter how unique mine was, seeing one on ever corner just felt off.

The '10 will always have a place in my heart, unlike my first wife.

A bunch of us are coming down from Phoenix to Tucson on October 12 to race at SIR's AZ Fastest Street Car and TnT event.....in case there's some Tucson cars that want to do some match/grudge racing for fun.

Turboed GTO's, a number of h/c/i C6 Z06's (one on spray), some 5.0 supercharged/auto Coyotes, a GT500 or two, etc.

Just started getting a clunking sound (just one loud clunk) when I take a right hand turn at any rate of speed unless I'm going really slow. It's in the driver's side front wheel well. Any ideas? (Besides always turning left......)

Anybody have a line on road course tires in Tucson? Of the four supposed dealers in SV for Nittos and Toyos, I am down to Discount Tire or mail order from Tire Rack. Looking for Nitto NT01s or Toyo Proxxes R888s x4 in the 285/35-20 size.

Got home a few hours ago, spent a total of 5 hours at the dealer in Sierra vista (not including driving time). After quite a bit of debate of what my trade was worth I'm pleased to say I am the proud owner of a black on black 2013 ZL1.

Sadly it rained on my pretty car on the way home so now it's filthy, but not nearly as filthy as I feel spending that many hours with the salesmen.

I'll post up my phone pics here as soon as I wash the filth off of me.

Have you tried Harrelson's in Safford? I've used them for my Cummins 4x4 and tractor, good prices and service. They carry Toyos, not sure about Nittos, 12 months same as cash through Goodyear.
