Sorry guys, this is my busiest time of year. I'll try to get some more photos tomorrow.

It was..okay..(should be noted that I have pretty high standards). It was about what I expected it to be. Dash and trim were nice. Hated the console, but I expected that. Hate the shifter location, but I knew I'd hate that. I'm hoping the gmc interior will be a little nicer, cause I do like that truck better.

Well, while I don't think the Canyon/Colorado interiors are going to win any awards or whatever, they look nice/comfortable enough, and modern enough to more than make me happy. Compared to the 2006 Colorado I'm driving now, these new interiors should be a whole new ball game.

Exactly... Leather seats and the mylink stuff is all I care about for my daily driver. Just wish they had a single cab w/ no extension.

It was definitely comfortable.

You and me both. Which is why I need to see it and the canyon in person before deciding.

Now that I've seen both, I must say the GMC canyon looks so, sooooo much better. The colorado looks too European. Canyon is more tough/truck/American looking.

Got a chance to see a couple Colorados today. I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed at the amount of plastic inside. I thought for sure the dash would have a more soft touch material to it.

Here's some interesting news:

Cadillac ATS, CTS, New Camaro, Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon On Deck For 8L90 Transmission

This is no surprise to me, as maximizing MPG is of the utmost importance and I've already said no doubt they'd get an 8 speed in the next year or two. I wouldn't doubt if we see the new LGX V6 engine in the 2016 models either...for sure by 2017.

I wonder what changes they may make to this transmission (aside from tuning of course) between the various models. I mean...I'd be shocked to see the same 8 speed transmission, with the same amount of durability in a Colorado, that the new Corvette Z06 (with 650HP) uses. That would be incredible, and these would be bulletproof like transmissions, but I suspect there will be different versions (for example. the current 6L80 and 6L50)

Dude ! That eight speed transmission combined with the purposed diesel engine is a WIN WIN in my book. If GM does this combo the Canyon/Colorado should get excellent MPG's.

I would love to have an 8 speed LGX Colorado. Just don't change the looks. They look great right now.
