You guys are funny. Props to Dodge for making upping the ante! We've got a new muscle car era going on.

Sad, cause it looks like a really cool car. Not a show stopper, but man oh man, put 325s on the back of that sucker and let it rip......
That's BS.....I fit 295's on my 2009 Challenger R/T which was lowered....no problem...no rubbing.

With that said...they should have put at least 305's on the rear of this bitch...

I am still trading up for the Hellcat...I will just buy fatter tires.....simple "fix".

Plenty of people have 315's on 20" wheels with no rubbing issues, a friend fits 325's on his r/t at the track and it just makes it....

These cars all have areas they excel in.

Fact 1: they dont make a fat enough enough street tire to hook up 650lbft@3000rpm so stop worrying about how wide the rears are.

Fact 2: the ZL1 will beat the Hellcat around a road course that has more then 4 turns

Fact 3: the only people who care about Fact 2 will be ZL1 owners because they have to have something to brag about because in the real world when a Hellcat pulls up next to them at a stoplight the ZL1 owner will have to pretend he is getting something out of the glovebox when the light turns green.

Fact 3: Will my Camaro SS out handle my SRT? YES..... Do I care....? No, I will take straight line acceleration over handling anytime like the majority of people and "Majority" always rules...... Road course is the minority...... Don't get me wrong , I like the 1le and zl1, but the owners need to get over it...

I'm with you on 2 and 3. But no on 1. P1, 918, and LaFerrari do it all day. It's more on the TC/LC calibration of things. Motor Trend just got 0-60 in 2.4 in the 918. Fastest time ever.

the tire isn't hooking the car up ...the car is babysitting the tire, disable the nannies and its a smoke show or 0-60 in 4.8

I'm saying this is the best sounding stock domestic made car ever (or at least to me, in my 30 years on this planet). I'd have no desire to do anything to that beautiful sound.
