If the price and MPGs are as or more impressive than what has been shown I could be in the market in a few years. As much as I love them I don't really need a V8 Silverado and this would make a great daily driver.
This mirrors my thoughts pretty closely, although I can't say I wanted this truck to look like a mini Silverado either...I do like the Silverado for different reasons. The more I see this Colorado and especially in moving video it looks good!

I'll be in the market as well, but likely for a good used one instead of paying new prices. I hope they managed to get some decent efficency from the V6 model. I'd like to see the crew cab V6 rated in the 23 - 25 mpg HWY range at the very least with a 19 - 20 mpg average with mixed driving. I'm already doing 18 - 19 mpg average in my 06 Colorado crew cab 4x4 so I expect at least few more with this.

Maybe blue will become availiable after a year or so. I still dig the Green white and Black the most. Heck the Camaro doesn't even offer green or the light brown this does.
I'd also like to see a good medium metallic blue!!

I do hate the fact that we have to wait nearly a year from now before these things will start hitting the dealer lots.

Why couldn't they be released for summer 2014???.....

The 3.6 be around 300hp? Or is it the same rating as the camaro?

Too bad you can't get the new twin turbo 3.6 in this.......

Anybody guessing price? Premium for the diesel?

Or if they can't be released any sooner, why not debut it at a later autoshow, like Chicago (major truck show) or New York (last major US autoshow before summer, I think)

There's no purple in Blue Ray. Arguably some grey to it, and it is very dark. But purple? Nah. There was some purple in the old renderings of Imperial Blue on Chevy's build site, but that was just a case of screwy CGI renderings.

No SAE numbers yet, so treat that as 'at least' 300. It is the same engine as in the Camaro, but they're 'truckifying' it to get more low end & midrange power (and torque), which will probably end up sacrificing a bit on the top end -which is where peak power is made.

I imagine there will be a bit of a price premium on the diesel, but maybe not much of one since its almost a sidestep from the V6. Best way to guess might be to look at the positioning of the Ram EcoDiesel vs the 5.7 Hemi. Thats the closest analogue I can think of.

As much as the I love the 3.6L V6 it is still a High RPM motor and tq. doesn't come on down low and I don't know how much tuning they can do to change that But I did check out the Tacoma 4.0 and its only 236 hp and 266 at 4k rpm so that does one up the Tacoma. I did price one out with the v6 and the TRD package and 4x4 and it came out to around 32k so im sure the Colorado will match or be more than the Tacoma since the Tacoma has been out and not redesigned in a long time. As for the premium the diesel version im gonna guess about 2 to 3k dollars for it. Also I didn't see how much its going to weight so that will matter how good the MPGS are too.

Don't know how much this helps, but on the low end torque, it is supposed to have different cams, etc to make the torque happen lower. As for weight they stated around 900 pounds lighter than a comparable Silverado.
