Considering I only have the V6 and if, big IF, I had the opportunity to buy the ZL1 I wouldn't do it. I love my Camaro but for that kind of money I would have to buy a Z06. Plenty of them out there a year old with 10k miles on them for $20K less.

I love my car but every time I drive, I somehow think of an ZL1, but I would not buy one, just not my thing, but if they made a Z28 with an LS7, well then that is different

A test drive sealed the deal for me. I'm on the opposite side of the fence from most on here. I never considered owning a 5th gen, until I drove the ZL1. The fact I got mine well below msrp just makes it that much nicer. IMO, the ZL1 is not over rated and worth the premium.

If I had the money just lying around, and the wife's permission..., I would no doubt keep mine! However, new trailing arms, sways, springs, bushings, twin turbo, tune, 3.91 rear end, clutch master cylinder mod, lt headers....

Nope no ZL1 for me....i love my highly modded SS/RS just fine. I will always be a GM man but if i buy another sports car it will have to be the latest and greatest Corvette on the road at that time. That will be my Golden Years/Mid Life crisis ride...lol!

Extremely happy with my SS. If I was a track guy, I would've bought the ZL1.
