I didn't do a burnout because it didn't feel safe which resulted in alot of wheel hop and screeching of tires when I launched. For some reason the Texas Raceway in Kennedale was allowing TONS of people right there... like 20 right there in the lane with me, next to me and behind me! They weren't all staff either... most were just spectators and were heckling everyone... I'm not kidding! Yea, I'm ranting.. it was a horrible experience. Let's just say that since Yellowbelly track got shut down all the bad elements from that track are now at Kennedale (If you race in the DFW area you know what i'm talking about). This really sucks since it's only about 5 miles from my house and the only other 1/8 mile is a hour away. It's the first time in over a year I've been able to go drag racing ... should have driven to Denton. Maybe we need to have a section on the forum to rate tracks. Kennedale BIG thumbs down.

So here it is, my screeching, hopping and heckled pathetic time.

Kennedale has always been bad about crowds, except during Pro Mod or other such events.

Yello Belly is still open AFAIK. It was always a haven for wide open gambling on races and allowing drunk drivers. Kennedale, on test and tune nights became a "mini" Yello Belly with the gambling and crowds all over the staging area. At least Kennedale is strict with it's no drunk driving policy. Besides, you DON'T want to get busted for DWI (or anything else) in the Kennedale city limits. I got an expired inspection ticket in Kennedale 25 years ago and it cost me $52.50.
