I only look down upon it if mommy & daddy or grandma buys it for them and it's a free ride. Basically it makes them equal to being a spoiled brat. If the underage person driving it is paying the payments or the majority of the monthly payemnts from the job they work then there's nothing wrong with it. You should have to earn what you have.

Im 18, almost 19 in November and I got my Camaro for graduation and I know most of you older guys will think im spoiled and I am for getting the car...but I only got it because in high school I had good grades and didn't do anything stupid. My parents had two little ones that I was always helping out with and did other things around the house, ran errands for them which showed them Im pretty responsible. So now I own a Camaro and I realize how much power the car has and the potential of doing something immature but I haven't because I know the consequences that would come along.

Everything aside...I love this car

As long as they are completely able to safely drive the car, I don't care what kind of car someone else has. Some people just don't know how to drive a powerful vehicle (others don't know how to drive ANY vehicle). Obviously giving a 16 year old a 426 HP as the first car they have touched besides the drivers ed van (or whatever) is not an entirely bright idea... Tis why my kids (whenever I get around to having any) will have had plenty of driving lessons long before the turn 16.
