Yeah I ordered on june 23rd and not shipped yet. We all knew when we ordered there was a delay so in all fairness myself as others need to suck it up I am being impatient as well but at least hes on here giving notifications and its not all just left up in the air.

Ok befor you put yours on check your foam placement. On mine the foam was too close to the edge in 2 places on top. When I put it in it squished out so you can see it. I may have been able to fix it befor I put it in but its too late now. Ill take a pic tomorrow.

Do the clips come off completely with the screws during removal or do the just relax? I don't want to drop a clip into the truck lid. Does the new light just snap in with the clips in the as delivered position? i.e. Don't loosen the screws I'm putting it on tonight.

the new light snaps in with clips on. remove all the clips on the old if you can. some jut removed the 2 middle clips and popped it out.

ZL1 1LE 3rd brake light
While I just finished the install. I heated it up with my wife's hair dryer, used a plastic pry tool from Harbor Freight, worked around it a few times and it popped right out. It did not scratch the paint if you are wondering, not a whole lot of pressure needed. The wire clip you need to push inward to pop it off. I used Goo Gone to soak the double sided sticky tap, then used the plastic pry tool to slowly remove the old tape. Then used alcohol to clean the surface where the new tape goes. Pushed in the new light and done. It is that easy. No screws, removing the inside panel or even opening the trunk.

Finished mine too, but went a little different route of removing all the clips and pushing the light out slowly. It pretty much took all the foam with it and left nothing on the trunk that wasn't easy to remove.
