Thanks for chiming in. I'll try and get in contact with you sometime next week. I heard lots of good things about the Triple Carbon Street Slayer. That's why I purchased it. It's been in the car for about 4 months and probably has a few hundred miles on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I would advise the street slayer carbon triple. I've had mine for 12000 miles and love it. Easy to drive easy to slip and since it engages higher than stock it promotes fast shifts.

Once again RPS/Street Slayer, Mantic 9000, DYAD, RXT are your best choices.

My Mantic 9000 died yesterday at the drag strip. I'm going with the RPS/street slayer triple.

Detoxx hit it on the head. I was actually thinking that I should have gotten the 1500hp spec but so far no issues. Uncorrected was 1120 which is getting really close to the 1200hp rating of this one.

That is the first mantic I've heard die. How many miles/etc? Mine has 10k or so now on it at 1050rwhp with no issues.

I only put about 3000 miles on the clutch but probably had around 30 drag racing passes on the clutch. Obviously it is much harder on the clutch to dump it at 4000 rpm with a drag radial that wont give than to let it out easy or even to have a set of street tires that slip before the clutch does. It was much better than any of the GM clutches. Plus my car is weighing 4300 lbs with me in it.

I run 345 ET streets full time. Maybe it is because my car weighs 3200lbs. Still the first I've heard failing. Did it just start slipping or what?

I have the Mantic twin and Ive had no issues and I daily drive and drive to the track and drag race......a lot! I do get a tiny bit of chatter sometimes but no biggie. For what it holds and for the price you can't beat it. No way in hell I'd pay more for a clutch I'd go 4L80 before I spend over 2k on a clutch. Just my .02.
Ive also cut 1.5's 60fts on this mantic and consistent 1.6's I did have a Spec P-trim twin and I killed it @ 650rwhp on dope at the track on second pass. And its rated for over 1200
