After they appraised my truck, the sales guy gave me a number, 42K. They wanted me to put down a deposit but before I did, I wanted a guarantee about the trade-in value. He proceeded to say he would only give me 35.5k for my truck. After a few choice words I walked out. Yesterday, they actually had the audacity to send me pictures of the car sitting in their showroom asking if I would reconsider. Seriously? Could I do something legally? Not sure but not worth my time. Oh and by the way, their system was down the day I ordered so they never charged me the 1K deposit.
I am in the process of working with another local dealer who I have bought from before to see if she can do anything.

Update. After a couple days, my original dealer called me back and offered me a way better deal so I pulled the trigger. Absolutely love this car! Thanks again Becky for keeping me post throughout the assembly process. Here she is...

Glad it all worked out! love the colors! 1500 miles now, and it has really woke mine up. I enjoy driving it every day. Very impressed with the infotainment3 in the 2SS.
