DUI accident fatality reported as COVID, a whole bunch of others.

Like posted if a case is declared COVID the payout for hospitals is triple normal rates.

Yes, the shop don't earn that much lately. Back to retraining with my friends, hoping that I won't lose my job on August 11.

Fun Facts:

Current death rate worldwide of infected people: .4% and dropping
Current death rate of infected people in the US: .35% and dropping
Chances of landing in the ICU ward? Less than 1%

In this country, IF you get infected, you have a 99.65% chance of survival.
The rest of the world only has a 99.6% chance.

According to The National Safety Council:

Odds of dying in a car accident today (as driver, passenger, or pedestrian) .74%
Odds of dying from a fall (including stumbling and hitting your head) .7%

That translates into a 2x(+) chance of dying over this flu.

Find me a casino with these odds of winning.....

It's actually 4% not 0.4%.
96% survival rate.
Also the death rate has actually been climbing the last month worldwide, and the last two weeks here in the US.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

As of right now:
Cases-15,601,008
Deaths---634,609
=4%

Active Cases
5,495,957
Currently Infected Patients
5,429,760 (99%)
in Mild Condition

66,197 (1%)
Serious or Critical

Closed cases
10,105,051
Cases which had an outcome:
9,470,442 (94%)
Recovered / Discharged

634,609 (6%)
Deaths

If all the serious/critical pass away the most will be 4.5% right now.

It's not good, but also not the plague MSM is hyping.

our Indiana Governor doesn't have the power to make us, only suggest it. That is why in his speech, he so nicely said "..and we won't be policing this but for the good of the state". He is actually putting the pressure on the business' that can decide to make you wear a mask. I know Meijer has said they would encourage it but if you didn't wear a mask, they would not make you leave.

For everyone out there. Know your Rights, and know what those that make the laws are not over-reaching their authority.

this is actually a good point. it gets forgotten when people bitch about businesses making them wear masks--it's their private property and since [mostly made up conditions except for, like, nerve damage] aren't a protected class, gtfo if you refuse.

Try walking into a hospital or school without one and see how far you get. It doesn't matter if its law or not, this is where we are now. Just put the damned thing on and don't make an ass of yourself.

Actually, there are another 14% "undocumented" cases that are running around according to random testing done in NY.

https://in.reuters.com/article/us-he...-idINKCN2252WN

So, if you count for a generous margin of error (and for the ease of calculating) drop that to 10%, it is actually .4%. worldwide and .35% in the US. Much lower if you use the 14%...

You have a 2x greater chance of dying from tripping and falling. Are you wearing a helmet?

Why aren't you so concerned about 1700+ people dying from heart disease EVERY day?

And, why would I want to eat you or people like you? Or, is this the way you show "compassion and tolerance"?

"Starr County Health Authority Dr. Jose Vazquez said Starr County Memorial Hospital, the county’s only hospital, on Tuesday implemented an ethics committee and a triage committee to review all coronavirus patients as they come in to determine what type of life-saving equipment and treatment they would likely require and whether they would likely survive. Those deemed too fragile or sick or elderly will be advised to go home to loved ones, he said.
Starr County Health Authority Dr. Jose Vazquez speaks via a video conference call with media on Tuesday.
'There is nowhere to put these patients. The whole state of Texas and neighboring states have no ICU beds to spare for us,' Vazquez said Tuesday afternoon during a video conference call with media."
