i heard that eibach springs sag over time and the ride quality worse....... it happened to my friends challenger r/t. she bought the pro kit and they started saging after a few months of having them but this could be cause the challenger is heavier but idk

it's because their spring rate is too soft for a lowering spring. it almost like they took the stock ones and cut an inch off!

buy a lowering spring that has a higher spring rate that is built better like pedder's or pfadt

Eibach springs ahve been around for years, so I would think that explian the low price. I used their springs on my Harley F150 and the stance was Killer, it's ride quality was better than stock, and I had no problem with sagging. Even if there was a problem witn sagging, they have a MILLION mile warranty.

lets see if they stand behind it, the ones on my '01 silverado settled till the tops of the fenders were touching the tires, no warranty. bought another pair of there springs, front only, like a dummy, these are almost touching the tire as well, tearing up my tires. done with them, looking for a spring spacer to put in the base of the coil. its a show truck, it's been done for years, i just want to start driving it more now.
the rep i spoke to at eibach was to full of themselves, 1 bad expierience, lost a customer for life.

on the camaro side of it, i went with hotchkis. couldnt be happier, great ride quality, incredible handling, nice balance, and the adjustible sway bar made tuning for my driving style a breeze.
i switched over to hotchkis a few years back on a few different projects, great customer support, and a high quality product.

H&R and DSE are 1.4" I believe. I also think BMR is going to offer both a 1" and 1.4" spring.

I didn't want to cut my bump stops which is one of the reasons that lead me to the Hotchkis.
Dont the hotchkis come with pre cut bump stops? I just got off the phone with Vengance racing and I believe they do. Waiting on a price check for Pedders hopefully have one or the other on before this weekend.

I'm just saying that for that little of money don't let it sway you from a spring you really want. Keep researching and then buy the one based on your gut feeling. You don't want to be sorry down the road that you should've bought XXX brand for a little more money.

Picking the right spring is a very tuff choice.

From my resarch this what I found for pricing:
Eibach: just under $200
Pedders: $360
Pfadt: about $300
Hotchkis: $285
BMR: $240

I ended up with Hotchkis
Where did you see Pfadt springs for $300?

Brandon at IPS had a special a couple weeks back. $299 shipped! Not sure if that's changed or not.

We designed this kit to not require trimming of the bump stops. The bump stops are an important design element, and our spring set doesn't
bottom out, stays quiet, and stays loaded in the struts.

+1 - When I get my 2012 SS I will be calling to get ur Track Pack. This has to be one of the best complete & engineered systems on the market. I have your suspension components on my 2002 35th Anniversary CamaroSS Vert and love them. Imho best bang for buck !!!
