Wow thanks for all the help guys. So 2LT is the best V6 you can buy (granted you check all the options) and the 2SS is the best V8 right?

The 2LT is the top trim level for the V6-powered Camaro. The 2SS is the top trim level for SS models. Don't confuse the SS with the ZL1 or Z/28. Those are separate models.

As you may have read above there is also a 1LE mentioned. The 1LE package is an option on 1SS and 2SS models only (requires manual transmission).

There are too many damn threads asking the difference between the models! Believe it or not, chevolet.com shows all the options and differences between these models...just a google search away...

no it doesn't. RS doesn't include the fog lamps that you get with the 1LT. I know you were trying to be funny, but it doesn't seem like it worked.

That's like telling people to read their owners manual, they would rather make a thread on here and get conflicting information.
BTW I suggested that in post number 10 and even posted a link.

You can add RS packages to all of these which are appearance packages.
You cant add RS to the LS model.

The RS is an option for the 1LE, but I like the non RS look better on the '14 models for various reasons.

Negative. The 1LE's also have RS package as an option and the wheels are part of the 1LE package.

Does the stock 1LT with 18" wheels/tyres come with the higher limiter?
