Thanks. Yes it will. All it will need is a quick polish after it dries and on it goes.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your paint from? It looks exactly like the factory color

I bought 1 pint of Dupont machinery & equiptment enamel mixed by the automotive paint store to match my IBM paint code.

Then they put the paint into 3 rattle cans for me. I applied one can of this paint and 20 minutes later shot 1 rattle can of clear coat, w/built in activator and hardener, over the paint and that's it.

So they were able to put the mixed paint into rattle cans? I need to ask if they can do this for mine because I've been told they can't do that with metallic paints.

They can't do metallic basecoat paints and put them in a rattle can. This is why I had to use single stage enamel as a base coat and shoot clear over it.

The owner of the paint store let me in on this little cheat. He painted a mailbox and flamed it using this system and after 4 years in the sun, rain, and frost it still shines like brand new. Only thing might be it would rock chip easier but Camaro stock paint already does anyway .

Note: If you use single stage as base you must clear coat it between 15-20 minutes after shooting the last coat. If you wait too long, the paint will wrinkle when you spray the clear coat. This system is awesome for all sorts of other stuff like painting inside trims in your Camaro, chin spoilers, touch ups, etc.

The machinery & equipment enamel is the cheapest grade they offer and the only thing wrong with it is that it dries kinda flat, which is perfect for use as a basecoat. It's cheap too ($26 for a pint and $12 per rattle can fill) The activated clear coat rattle cans cost $20 each.
