I’ve used them for years in my boat and have zero trouble with them. I know a lot of people in MN that use them in their trucks and love them for our harsh winters.

Per usual, I think it comes down to how people take care of their stuff. I have CTEK chargers and keep them charged so I think that is the main thing for any brand.

I have been having excellent luck with Odysseys.

Just put one in my ZL1. Now I have them in everything.

Have not had to change one yet. The one in my Vista Cruiser is 15 years old.

Battery tender would work. I also buy the Costco interstate batteries for 1/2 the price. They have the same 5 year no questions asked replacement. So not going to go out of my way about it. It either works or it doesn’t. Now if you’re talking boat or trolling motor batteries, that’s another story.

Does anyone code the alternator to charge the lithium battery? I know on my VW Golf when I put in a Braille Lithium battery it was recommended to reprogram the alternator to charge a lithium battery accordingly. Does the Camaro offer any such option? Or should I just send it?

Seems most of the battery brands are manufactured by either Johnson Controls, East Penn Manufacturing or Enersys.

I roasted my first Anti-gravity using a conventional charger. Should have read the directions.

From what I can see, this car is unlikely to fully charge AGM batteries, even though, I believe, some versions come from the factory with AGM. AGM's like a slightly higher charging voltage compared to flooded cell, and fully charged AGM will be around 13.0V. Not saying AGM won't/can't work, just that it will likely not reach 100% unless you put it on a charger with a dedicated AGM mode (like CTEK).
Lithium battery... I would not mess with this unless the battery has some kind of charging electronics built-in.
Personally, I'm sticking with flooded cell.
Also, the "Camaro" charger sold by GM is a CTEK.

You're right. The alternator does not fully charge an AG, which is why I put mine on its charger after every drive. But it does save a lot of weight.
