That's the worst one I have ever heard. I would not be happy. With the 2 ZL1's I have near me, neither one is this loud. Diesel is right...and in person I'm sure it is more annoying than the video. Mine is usually totally quiet.

Crappers. Even with my lousy hearing that sounds NOTHING like mine does. I thought you might be exaggerating some but since listening to the vid it honestly sounds like a Cummins.

After two ZL's I'd be so pissed I'd take the thing back and say keep it, let alone never buy another GM again. Unfortunately try as they may, QC is never 100%, 100% of the time otherwise there would be absolutely flawless JD Power reports and zero recalls for every single car made. Of course, this is little satisfaction to you I know. Your stuck with a rattle trap.

The dealer is willing to work with me but that doesn't mean GM is going to help. I have no answer as of yet. I sent this video to the dealer for reference. I just got off the phone with GM AGAIN & still waiting for an answer. I have demanded my money back since all the BS I have been through. This zl1 purchase excursion started July 5 & here I am today with a replacement zl1 that makes noise. Really makes me feel like paying the payment!!

I hope that you do find out what is causing it. I would think it sounds like something in the Superchager. Might be the coupler. You will notice the engine is smooth and the belts seem to jump. I had the old Buick 3800 sc that rattled the same until I replaced the coupler. It is a shame the it is a new with that problems.

Hopefully you will hang in there because once it is right you will love the car.

What happened to your first zl1? I read you mentioned paint issues?
